2007’s Building Bridges Retreat in Bakersfield on Friday, March 9 was a day for English teachers to get together with publishers and colleagues to exchange ideas on the craft of teaching college English. Region 5 was well represented by faculty and administrators from Cerro Coso, Bakersfield College, Porterville College, College of the Sequoias, and Taft College, among other non Region 5 schools.

The coordinators would like to thank the publishers, their wonderful regional representatives, the presenters, college administrators, and English teachers who attended and participated.
